Fire on the Mountain

For just a couple of weeks in February, when the sun is at precisely the right angle, if the ephemeral waterfall is flowing, and if the sky is clear, Horsetail Fall appears to glow as if on fire. When all of these facets of nature cooperate resulting in this phenomenon, this natural Firefall is truly a sight to see.
